[RFP] Education, Community Growth and Events

1. Our Vision

We are particularly eager to see projects built on Arbitrum that drive widespread adoption of Layer 2 technologies in the educational sector, providing a smoother and more accessible user experience for all participants. Our vision includes decentralized educational apps that bring innovative solutions for the certification and validation of academic achievements, simplifying the accreditation and acknowledgment of skills acquired within the Layer 2 ecosystem.

We recognize that education, community building, and events play a critical role in growing the Arbitrum ecosystem. These initiatives drive the onboarding of new members—builders, creators, and developers—while also strengthening relationships with existing community members by:

Facilitating the creation of meaningful educational resources, such as workshops, or collaborations with universities & institutions.
Strengthening community presence, by targeting new users and onboarding new builders onto the ecosystem.
Showcasing Arbitrum’s capabilities through real use cases. We want to engage with “web2” actors and create a bridge between both worlds.

2. Focus Verticals

Below are the verticals we continue to support. Within each vertical, we now include updated guidelines based on feedback and lessons learned.

Note that the DAO is in the process of defining its strategic objectives for the next two years through the SOS initiative, so it is possible that this RFP may undergo modifications throughout the twelve months of the program.
