Vision and Criteria for Grant Proposals in V3

Version 3 of the D.A.O. Gaming Domain will be adapting once again to fit the Arbitrum Gaming Ecosystem’s needs.

This 12-month Season will focus solely on Content Creators, Marketing Agencies and other User Acquisition models within existing gaming communities on Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Kick, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit/Forum Pages

Functionally, this differs from Season 2 only in that creators and agencies with longstanding presences and brands will be the focus.

Criteria

Here is a short list of possible grant applicants for this domain:

• Content Creators and KOLs with an established presence in existing gaming communities outside of Twitter and Discord
• Marketing Agencies with a track record of performance in acquiring users and driving conversions into paid users as measured by gaming industry standards
• Protocols or Infrastructure focused on game discoverability or distribution in existing gaming communities on Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Kick, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit/Forum Pages
• Event planning or Tournament-focused infrastructure within existing gaming communities

This domain would like to see long-term partnerships and co-incentivized campaigns across the breadth of preexisting traditional gaming distribution networks to help drive traffic to Arbitrum games.

Additionally, a base level of Average Concurrent Viewership or Average Video Views is needed to apply in Season 3.

YOU MUST PASS ONE OF THESE BENCHMARKS BEFORE APPLYING AS A SOLO CREATOR:

• TWITCH Qualifications: 70+ Average Concurrent Viewers Over the Past 3 Months (With at least 20 hours streamed per week)
• YOUTUBE Qualifications: 20,000+ Average Views Across the Past 5 Videos (Within the last 30 days)
• TIKTOK Qualifications: 20,000+ Average Views Across the Past 5 Videos (Within the last 30 days)

Proposal review and evaluation rubric

Proposals in this domain are typically reviewed directly by the domain allocator. Depending on the proposal content, the domain allocator may consult with allocator(s) in relevant domain(s) and may invite other allocator(s) to provide additional review. All proposals between $25,000 USD and $50,000 USD will be subjected to the approval of two separate domain allocators.
